Kentucky SB101 requires ALL school applicants to have a letter from the Cabinet for Health & Family Services (CANS Check/DPP-156) indicating no child abuse or neglect. Applicants must submit the CANS check letter at the time of application.

To access this Central Registry Check letter application, please click here and complete the following steps:

1. "Log In" or "SignUp"

2. Once logged into account, select "All Apps" tab

3. Enroll in "CAN Payment and Verification"

4. At the top left corner, choose "Form" and then select "Central Registry Check DPP-156"

5. Check "Public School Employee" box and complete application

6. You will be prompted to upload an ID, such as a driver’s license, and pay the $10.00 fee with a credit/debit card
